Brazing Trials & Process Development

BTE and BTI Braze offer hands-on brazing trials to validate products and processes before production commitment.

Flame Brazing Trials

Torch application testing of flux core wire and paste products. Optimise wire grade selection, flame technique, and joint preparation for your specific component geometry.

Furnace Brazing Trials

CAB furnace process validation with Alumasil™ braze paste and Alumakote™ or Alumatec™ flux systems. Grade selection, flux loading optimisation, and thermal profiling support.

Induction Brazing Trials

Induction heating process development for high-volume production of specific joint configurations. Coil geometry and power profile recommendations included.

Application Development Services

BTE offers end-to-end application development support — from first contact to full production qualification. Whether you are introducing a new product, changing an alloy system, or troubleshooting an existing process, our technical team works alongside your engineers.

1
Process Optimisation
Analysis of existing brazing parameters — temperature profile, flux loading, atmosphere — to identify improvement opportunities.
2
Custom Formulating
Tailoring flux viscosity, particle size, and chemistry to your specific application and dispensing equipment requirements.
3
Prototyping
Small-batch production of custom formulations for trials before full production scale-up.
4
Product Optimisation
Ongoing technical support to adapt products as your assembly designs, alloys, or furnace conditions evolve.
