Two complementary flux families covering the full spectrum of aluminum brazing and flame brazing requirements — from controlled atmosphere furnace turbulator flux to corrosive paste and powder flux for field repair and open-flame applications.
Alumatec™ flux products serve two distinct applications within the same family: FBX paste grades for manual flame brazing, and Turbulator Flux grades for automated furnace brazing in tube fin assemblies. Both are based on non-corrosive KAlF₄ chemistry and are available with or without Cesium Fluoride enhancement.
The Turbulator Flux is specifically formulated for auto-dispense application onto fins and turbulators before furnace brazing, ensuring precise coverage with minimal waste.
Alumaflo corrosive fluxes offer a wider active temperature range (450–572°C) making them suitable for flame brazing applications where precise temperature control is not possible. Available as paste (manual and auto-dispense) or 100% powder for dip and torch application.
